He has participated as a tax advisor in many national and international transactions, including corporate reorganisations and restructurings, M&A processes, tax planning for investment transactions at both national and international level; in the field of private equity, high net worth, fund structuring transactions, acquisition and divestment planning; structured finance projects; and ongoing tax advice to multinational and family office groups.

His clients include large national and international companies, as well as private clients to whom he provides ongoing tax advice, from various sectors including technology, private equity, life sciences, and energy.

He is specialized in Corporate Law and M&A (acquisition of companies, joint ventures, mergers and restructuring operations), business contracts (sale and purchase, supply of products or services, distribution or agency contracts, franchise, etc.) and Real Estate Law.

Likewise, he is Secretary of the Board of Directors of many companies, providing legal advice and compliance. He is a member of the Barcelona’s Bar Association since 2001.

Extensive experience in the contractual area, from drafting, negotiation and resolution of all types of commercial contracts with national and international imolicatons. She holds the position of Secretary in several corporate companies and acts as legal advisor for the companies daily management and for the challenges that arise in sectors such as industrial, transport, logistics, real estate, health and e-commerce.

With more than 20 years of professional practice, Manuel is the Partner in charge of the Digital Area at BPV and collaborates with the M&A and Innovation Areas.

His expertise includes Intellectual Property, Outsourcing, Technology Contracting and M&A Tech, as well as advising international and local start-ups. He also has a long track record in Data Protection as Data Protection Officer (DPO) and in advising on digital business for different sectors, where he is a renowned expert.

Prior to heading the Digital Practice Area at BPV, Manuel worked for multinational service companies such as Ernst & Young, international law firms such as Fieldfisher, consulting firms such as Crowe as well as IP/IT and M&A Corporate boutiques, both on the legal and transactional side. Prior to practicing law, he was an entrepreneur in the ICT sector.

Cristina is specialized in Corporate Law and in every other area related to business. She has a long experience which makes her a referent in subjects such as business legal advising, restructuring and corporate operations, mergers and acquisitions, refinancing negotiations and all kinds of business contracting. Her activity in those fields covers both the advising and negotiation area and the litigation area. Besides, she has a vast experience in advising on business crisis and bankruptcy procedures, both in advising debtors or creditors and the company.

Likewise, she is a referent regarding Catalan Civil Law and Common Civil Law, providing full advice in inheritances, management of family assets, family protocols, family business and pre/post marriage agreements.

Lawyer and Social Graduate with more than 20 years experience.

He carries out his professional activity in BPV's Employment Law Department, covering all areas, primarily in employment and social security law consultancy and advice, including negotiation and employment of all types of workers under any areas of the Law including the Civil Service. He specialises in all type of legal
proceedings in employment cases, individual and collective bargaining, working conditions, restructuring and company organisation procedures.

He is an expert in Labour Force Adjustment Plan and Furlough in all its areas, whether suspension of employment contracts, reduction on working hours, and/or termination of employment contracts (procedure of collective dismissal), sanctioning proceedings of Labour and Social Security Inspections, the General Treasury of the Social Security or National Institute of Social Security, both in administrative, as well as in judicial proceedings. He also acts as advisor to bankruptcy proceedings or legal adviser to the insolvent party in this type of bankruptcy proceedings.

Lawyer specialized in Labor Law and Social Security with extensive experience in corporate counseling in the framework of large companies of national scope. Actively participating both in the gearing of the various departments of Human Resources (HR) in all its contingent and interpretative scenario, as well as especially in the execution of all types of disciplinary and termination procedures within the framework of the employment relationship. He also provides contractual advice within the scope and special regime of Senior Management.

Likewise, he has a special relationship with the scope of collective bargaining in all its breadth, and this before Employment Regulation Files, temporary and termination, as well as in the aspect of management and negotiation with the legal representation of the workers, including in substantial modification of working conditions files.

Due to his experience, he develops specific advice on Social Security matters, in all matters related to remuneration structures, as well as the interpretation of the applicable sectorial regulations, together with the analysis of corporate frameworks of mercantile relations and assimilated to the general regime of workers. Being recurrent his incorporation to the labor legal analysis teams of the Due Diligence procedures of the specialized practice developed.

She has advised on numerous mergers and acquisitions, especially in the industrial and service sectors. She has extensive experience in the taxation of family businesses and, in particular, in the aspects of asset succession implicit in the generational handover process.

Mónica has over 16 years’ experience in providing legal advice to national and multinational companies.

She specializes in civil, commercial litigation, and in the resolution of judicial and extrajudicial conflicts.

Mónica has managed and handled a wide number of proceedings before the Spanish Courts and Tribunals: of a civil and commercial nature: claims for payment, claims regarding interpretation, termination and breach of contracts (among others, sale and purchase agreements, supply agreements, distribution agreements, agency agreements and lease agreements), claims regarding directors’ liability, claims for damages arising from infringement of competition law, claims for eviction and claims for enforcement of judicial and other types of resolutions, among others, and of a criminal nature: regarding unfair administration, misappropriation, revelation and disclosure of secrets and industrial property, among others.
